What to Expect at a livingStone Church Service
Here are some questions we frequently get
-
How long is the service? 1 hour. We start promptly at 11am and stop at 12pm. Most people hang around for some coffeee and delicious food following the service. We have some awesome bakers at livingStone, so if nothing else at least you'll enjoy some really good food.
-
What should I wear? Clothes! Casual clothes. We're not a jacket and tie kind of Church. Dress like you're going to your friend's house for dinner. Yes you can wear shorts.
-
What about my kids? livingStone Church takes our children's ministry very seriously, in fact Christine, our children's ministry director has her Masters Degree in Children's education. We also have the school's playground available to us, so we find most children can't wait to come back!
-
Does anything weird go on during the Church Service? Nothing weird, however we do have some weird people (every Church has them!) but we love them too!
-
Are you going to ask for money? Nope! We don't even pass an offering plate, but for those who do wish to give we have offering boxes on the back table.
-
Why do you meet in a school? Churches have to start somewhere! When we started livingStone Church God provided us the RB Hunt School for our Church services and we're extremely thankful for this space. It's really a win - win, we have a place to worship and the School receives rent from us which they use to purchase additional school supplies for the students. We own 5 acres in the Shores neighborhood and do have plans for a Church building. Click here to check out what the new building will look like!
