Danny Stephens grew up in South Georgia. From childhood, he's loved sharing his faith through music. He grew up singing with his family in church. As a teenager, he co-founded a Christian band in his high school. At 17, he was also music director for a small local church and student conductor of his high school chorus.
All this led Danny to full time music ministry as a touring musician and songwriter, before eventually returning to a church ministry position, joining the staff of Northpoint Community Church in Atlanta, GA, where Andy Stanley is Senior Pastor.
Danny has also served at churches in NC and FL, in the areas of music and live production. He is co-founder of Pop Scripture Songs: a Scripture memory tool for families, and is a founding and current member of two bands: Smalltown Poets and The Life Atlantic. He has loved visiting St. Augustine over the years, and relocated to the area in 2018.
